hyve, a sister consulting firm in Baltimore, brought us on board for two change management projects at a global health organization. Our role focused on providing internal communications strategy consulting along with writing/editing in collaboration with a great copywriter.
hyve’s client was facing a period of unprecedented change that forecasted positive growth and also difficult impacts on staff. We needed to create a strategy and content able to meet the client’s needs for strong internal communications that would also be supportive and responsive to staff who worked up and down the organizational chart and across the globe at every step along the way throughout the upcoming period of change.

We built a comms plan guided by a set of staff-centric principles, focused on the unique communications needs of each key audience, and tied to channels able to deliver the right messages at the right time to the right audiences.
The plan featured ways for staff to receive consistent information at multiple times on multiple channels to help staff adapt to change and build trust in the process.
We also created a new internal comms channel that enabled staff to provide anonymous feedback and questions to leadership during the change period.
